Idle Bites is a single-player idle game published by Faf & Co. Studios. This page explains, in plain language, what information the app handles, where it comes from, and how it's used. We built Idle Bites to run entirely on your device — there's no account to create and no developer-run server storing your data.
Idle Bites doesn't ask you to sign up, log in, or provide your name, email, or any other personal details to play. We don't operate user accounts and we don't maintain a database of players.
Your progress — cash balance, venue levels, achievements, login streak, and settings like sound and haptics — is saved locally on your device only, using the standard storage mechanism your phone's operating system provides to apps. This data is never transmitted to us and we have no way to access it remotely.
Idle Bites offers two optional one-time purchases: Remove Ads and Auto-Collect Pass. These are processed entirely by Google Play's billing system (or Apple's, if you're on iOS). We never see, receive, or store your payment card details, billing address, or any other payment information — that's handled directly between you and the app store.
What we do store locally on your device is a simple record of which of these two items you've purchased, so the app knows to keep ads off and features unlocked. This record is not linked to your name or any personal identifier.
If you haven't purchased Remove Ads or the Auto-Collect Pass, Idle Bites offers optional rewarded video ads (for example, to double offline earnings or activate a temporary income boost) — you always choose whether to watch one. These ads are served through Unity LevelPlay, an ad mediation platform that may work with multiple ad networks.
To select and measure ads, Unity LevelPlay and its network partners may collect technical data such as your device's advertising identifier, general device information, and approximate location (typically at the country/region level). We don't control this collection directly — it's governed by Unity's own privacy practices. You can review their policy here:
Unity's Player and App User Privacy Policy
Purchasing Remove Ads or the Auto-Collect Pass removes rewarded ad prompts from the app going forward.
The app relies on a small number of third-party services to function. Each only receives the minimum data needed for its role:
| Service | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit (via Unity IAP) | Processes in-app purchases | Handled entirely by the app store; we only receive confirmation of what was purchased |
| Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) | Serves optional rewarded video ads | Device/advertising identifiers, general device and ad-interaction data |
Idle Bites is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we'll address it.
Since your progress lives only on your device, you're always in control of it:
If we make changes to this policy — for example, if we add a new third-party service — we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage checking back occasionally if you have concerns.
